Senior Database Administrator and Consultant
Paul Baumgartel has been working as an Oracle developer and DBA since 1988 (when the latest release of Oracle was version 5). He specializes in database systems architecture, performance improvement and high availability solutions. He is currently senior database administrator for a major financial application services provider, and also provides consulting and training services for clients across the country. The author of curricula in advanced performance optimization techniques, Mr. Baumgartel most recently taught a two-day seminar for Oracle professionals in New York City. He also presents frequently for the New York Oracle Users Group, and at regional and international Oracle conferences.
